The brief meeting was held to review upcoming events and plans for 2026.  Amelia and Craig Drake have arranged with the DOT for a stretch of Whitfield Rd to be assigned to NHIA to do periodic sweeps for trash and recycling.  We will get a sign on Whitfield Rd!  The first sweep is planned for Sat April 11 – details to come.  Our annual Spring Wildflower Hike with Dr. Bob Peet is planned for Sat April 18 – details to come.  Other events are in the works.  Our meeting was followed by an excellent presentation by Dr. Amy Germuth on Native American history at Hollow Rock.  50+ people attended the talk.
